Thomas Easley lived in Venice in the early to mid 1980s, and the years were influential in his development as an artist. Easley used glazed oil techniques to paint large-scale architectural landscapes, floral still lifes and nudes. His work was collected across Europe and North America. In the late 1980s, Easley moved to India and lived there for the next decade. The country's deep philosophical traditions and perspectives on multidimensional reality led Easley to immerse himself in dimensional realism, surrealism and allegorical works.
The artwork below is a sample of his work during that period.
